Jeihan is one of the most respected Indonesian Painter. Born in Ngampel, Solo, Indonesia at 26th of September 1938. Jeihan in an expressionist painter sculptor,
writer, and poet. He always put symbols of life mystery that people encounter. In
his life he held more than 100 solo exhibitions, publish six books, and produced two documentaries. He was awarded several prizes, such as “Perintis Seni rupa Jawa Barat” in 2006 and “Anugerah budaya Kota Bandung” in 2009. Some of his paintings are
part of national collection in Galeri Nasional Indonesia.
